The L.A. MaybeIn recent weeks we received a lot of sad news about deceased musicians. The great idols are gradually retiring, which puts rock in a dangerous zone. Therefore the next generation has to follow in their footsteps. And we have to share this next generation with the rock fans. At the end of March, I had already presented the six-piece hard rock band THE L.A. MAYBE, which released its debut album "Dirty Damn Tricks". Now the music video for "When I'm Gone" is released.

The American hard rock band THE L.A. MAYBE is still a young band and at the beginning of their career. But already with their debut album "Dirty Damn Tricks" they could reach for the stars. Lead singer Alvi Robinson, who became famous when he was almost chosen to front the legendary band AC/DC in 2016, can reshuffle the cards in combination with his unique bandmates.

Inspired by the icons, the result is a classic rock sound that combines with modern prodction and new guitar riffs. With their single releases like "Mr. Danger" or "Suckerpunch" they immediately convince the listener and create curiosity. Now the band released the official music video for "When I'm Gone" from their debut album.

Guitarist Dallas Dwight shares the following about the new music video:

"In 2015 a close friend of the band committed suicide. While we can’t ever fully erase the pain of such an event, we wrote “When I’m Gone” as a form of therapy and to hopefully inspire others with a message of hope.

This video is our most ambitious effort yet. Filmed over two months, across 5 beautiful locations around the Southeastern United States...we shot through pouring rain, searing heat, and breathtaking scenery.

It was our goal to have the visuals capture and reflect the emotional nature of the song and its meaning. Most of all, it’s a tribute to our friend and we hope it can help others through their own dark moments."
